Seagate Barracuda Green 2TB Issues

Hi,

I've recently installed a 2TB Seagate Barracuda Green into my new system and the BIOS will not detect it - any ideas?

Its connected via SATA 6gb/sec alongside an OCZ Agility 3 60gb but only the SSD is detected by either the BIOS or Windows 7.

Motherboard is Asus P8Z68-V Intel Z68 if that helps...

Is it powered up and spinning? Try another sata port first?

Power / Sata

There is no other reason why it shouldn't be seen.

Had already tried multiple SATA ports, different leads, it makes a weird noise as if its trying to do something but cant, like a pulsing noise, continuous beeps (not from the BIOS, when I put my ear to the drive), never heard it from a HDD before!

Return it if you still have warranty. might be faulty
