Seagate DST fail

Hi,

I've a seagate laptop HD that is failing the DST both in Seatools and Dell's diagnostics.

Is this a terminal failure and should warrant a replacement drive?

So Dell asking me to reinstall windows isn't really going to solve it?

Simple dell protocol.

I was asked to charge my battery on my m1730 when the charger stopped working.

It can sometimes be stupid but the have to follow protocol.
