Seagate HDD Returns.... im Stumped!

Hi guys,
I'm trying to RMA a Seagate HDD.. I've been through the warranty checker and it's all hunky dory and still in warranty.

After going through that it's supposed to allow you to continue with the RMA... But I don't see any button or link to click to allow me to do so?

Anyone help please?

I believe you also need to provide a SeaTools test code if you want to proceed with an RMA request.

If you can't get a code then click on the help button and it will give you codes to use in certain circumstances.
 
I've been through the link but after clicking Submit there's no option to go further.

I did provide a Seatools test code. It said drive was warranty.

edit: test code is 9beaaae3 its currently doing a LONG TEST to see if it gives a different code.
 
I just tried it with one of my Samsung disks using the "dead drive" code.

It goes through to Warranty Validation and then there's a button to "Create Return".

I tried 9beaaae3 and it didn't give me the "Create Return" option.

ah bugger. thanks. couldnt find any info on my test code so maybe its just a generic one.

the LONG TEST is still going, looks like it will be going all night :(
 
The LONG TEST ran all night but this morning seemed to have stuck at about 40%.
The log file shows bad sectors during the scan but doesnt give me an error code... What do you guys suggest?

I kicked off another LONGTEST and will check when I get home to see if it finishes.... I'm not holding up much hope.
 
LONG TEST has FAILED with error code: 9BEAAAD3 ever so slightly different to my other one.
RMA created and shall be posted tomorrow :)
 
Spot on Surveyor, there a list of codes when you raise a rma, didn't bother running the test, just used C5C898A2 code for dead drive with my Samsung today.
