Hi I am thinking of getting one these drives.
Its a 250GB SATAII 16MB Drive.

Wondering if anybody has any exp with these drives, also if there are possibly better equivalants to this drive.
Are these drives different to the 7200.10 Seagate drives?

Thanks
PS This HD is costing me about £50

I would like a resonably quick drive but I wont be needing any raptors or RAID setup's. Just general day to day stuff and occasionally some gaming and video/audio encoding.

Thanks

The NL35s were Seagate's "Near Line" Enterprise drives - not as fast as the SCSI Cheetahs for "On Line" storage but far cheaper hence the made up "Near Line" name. In performance terms they're more of an equivalent of the 7200.9 rather than the .10
