are they any good? after a few errors and some lost data, i'm fed up and i want an external drive. trouble is i'm lazy and don't want to have to waste my time each week, or day going through a backup process, which nicks performance and makes me sad 
the seagate drives look good though. the thought of just hitting the button once the PC has started up and letting it copy all the necessary files sounds great. are they really like this? is it that simple? and how easy is it to get at the data? would i be better just getting a normal external drive and using software to do it (at least then it would be easier to get at the data)
