Ok I have created an RMa for a faulty 200gb barracuda and I have a proper box for it, but do I need to place the drive in an anti-static bag or do I need to use one of them plastic seashell thingys?

Enclose each drive in a SeaShell container or an ESD (electrostatic discharge) bag. If packaging more than one drive, use a separate container for each drive.
