Can I get my hard disk replaced based on remapped sectors?

The drive itself was bought last september.

If there are bad sectors, an actual SMART warning or some other problem such as mechnaical issues then you can RMA it.

There isnt actually a SMART warning, but this analysis says its completely safe, so I'll continue using it.

RMA it! Ive got the same kinda smart readings aswell but now im getting some serious issues with stability and corrupted mpeg2 files.

Im not sure but it looks like seagate are doing advance rma's at last :D
All you need is a credit card, it covers them if you fail to return the faulty drive.
