Hi guys.. just about to buy a new drive for my system.. Its OEM so i need to buy cables.. But im not sure on which to buy. Do i need SATA-2 cables if there is such thing??

Ijust read your sticky before you posted, sorry lol..

My pc is a dell so i dont think it came with any..

and yes it has 4 sata ports.

I was just looking at the specs of my pc and noticed that its only 375 watt psu.....

Thats running:

P4 3.0Ghz
1gb ram
160gb sata seagate hdd + the new Seagate ST3250824AS 250GB 7200RPM SATA300 8MB Cache - OEM

+ pcie ati radeon x850xt...

Will my psu be able to handle all this do you think?? I hope so!
 
No it didnt come with the gfx card.. fitted it myself a couple of months back....

It only came with one dvd drive aswell and im going to fit a new one with the order i buy tonight...


what will happen if there isnt enogh power..... and if there isnt enough power what are my options?

by the way when i chose the system i could have chosen 2 dvd drives 2 hdds and a 7800gtx if thats of any relivence
 
Ah, you only live once... So who cares ill just buy it all.. If it dosnt work? Lol its only money and im sure ill be able to sort it out..
