When the drive wakes on inactivity, or when I reboot my system, I heard a clunk from one of my hard drives (3TB barracudas), does that mean I should replace the drive?

It makes one clunk noise and thats it. Afterwards it remains silent.

Probably just the noise it makes when it starts to spin up. Assuming the drive isn't old and has no other issues I wouldn't worry too much :)

Hey there, Trojan Horse.

I'm with @Jamesyboyjim on this one. It might be the drive's arm moving from its "parking spot". However, if you're worried about the drive, you could always download the HDD manufacturer's diagnostic tool and test the drive for errors and bad sectors, to see if anything unusual pops-up.

Cheers!
