Sealing shower enclosure.

Hi.
I bought a Merlyn 8 Shower enclosure and was wondering, what is the best way to seal around it?
I have Forever white silicone.
Do I seal all from the inside or just seal from outside only?
I was thinking of bedding the bottom arched rail to the shower tray (I've a quad tray)

If I remember right the instructions say seal on the out side- Got rid of my Merlin and bought a frame less one - so much neater. I see you are in Ireland - ring them and ask.

It doesn't say to do it but why could I not apply a fine line of silicone down the back of the two rails that are screw to the wall before they are fixed?

That's where ours leaked after install.Had to get the guy back to silicone those areas.

Thanks, Is there any reason why it cant be silicone down the back of the two long rails before they are fixed to the wall and the arched rail that sits on the shower tray too?

Guidance is generally to seal outside only. Allows water and moisture to evaporate within the enclosure.

OK Guys, do I use white or clear silicone on the outside of the shower door frame?

What suits best, white tiles and frame white otherwise clear as said previously on the outside. I always put a line down centre of profile as well to cover drilled holes.
