Searching for Fighting games

Hi all

Could anyone please recommend me some fighting games such as Street Fighter, Tekken and Dead or alive but for the PC. I honestly dont know where to start as I'm not sure if such games are available for PC's.

Anything similar to tekken 3 and better in terms of graphics would do.

Edit: All I want is the game name if it is available for PC's. I dont want to play consol games on the PC, I'm only interested in the name of the games that are of similar fighting genre that are designed for the PC.

I'm just asking for game titles nothing else :confused:

. I'm not trying to get the software or anything of that sort. If there is such a game then please give me its name and I will search for it in stores.

The Guilty Gear games are due for release on the PC soon. I'm really struggling to think of any recent beat-em-ups beyond that though.

I wonder why game developers dont make such games for the PC as I think that a fairly good amount of people would like them.

I know that MIDWAY makes Mortal kombat for the PC and other platforms but the others usually don't.

wilders: TBH get a ps2 or xbox for proper arcade games....

I might do so but I prefer PC's, however I might get a console after I wittness what both sony and nintindo have to offer compared to the X360 and the PC by the time they get luanched.

the pc dosent have many arcadey games, and when it does they dont run very well. get a dreamcast or japanese ps2. All the latest snk games are on the jap ps2.

Problem with that is it's the megadrive version. Grab a SNES at a carboot sale for less

To tell you the truth, I used to have that small form PS one as I only bought it to play games such as Tekken, king of fighters, street fighter, Shaman King "the only one that I couldnt complete as its in japanese

and has a multiple choise test that the player has to complete in order to reach a higher level".

I must have been living in a cave... There is such a thing as a Japanese version of the PS2 and games dedicated to it. So Japanese PS2 games wont run with normal PS2.... :confused:

I guess I should go read more.

I think I should go learn more about this Japanese PS2.. you learn somethig everyday
