Looks good. I'm going to have a think then come up with something!

Does it have to be a 3 course style thing or is it just a dish comprising of the said ingredients?

I don't get home for another couple of weeks but I'll have a bash when I get back. I've never had celeriac before and it seems to be the "in" ingredient at the moment so I might try to do something including that.

Personally I think the list is too extensive.

I thought the idea was people using the same seasonal ingredients to produce the best dish.

Everyone will end up with completely different ingredients and dishes.

I am confused by that list. You have fruit and lemon and rhubarb twice. But not apricots.

What's that mean?

OldCoals had an original list and then replaced it with a different one I suggested. It's just the formatting of his post has gotten messed up.

Not the way I read it to be honest. I thought we were just exploring the world of seasonal cooking. There doesn't seem to be any logic to me, in doing that and then restricting the number of available ingredients.

Personally, I'm a (mature) student so I'm going to restrict myself even further by doing this as cheaply as possible, and as sustainably (especially with regards to fish).

I think it's meant to be similar to show off you dish thread but using seasonal ingredients giving other people ideas. I guess It's up to you if you want to post just final picture or do 'how to' with pictures along the way.

I didn't realise it was called BDSMotW :p

You guys have proper deadlines and stuff and points/etc. Nothing bad about that and it's more of a competition than this (I think?) :)

lol :) I know what you mean mate, we do have rules, deadlines and points but anything that is questionable goes to a vote ;) No clenched iron fist here...

I think I have an idea. Should be easy peasy. I shall make it this week, although eldest won't like it, so might have to do it one night where he can have something else. I'm on it.
