Seat Covers

Without exception, all seat covers look bad.

Know any decent looking full seats that won't cost an absolute fortune?

The leathers in my new car are in dire condition, and I hate leather seats anyways as it doesn't have air con and in this weather it's a bit too much...

I just wanted something sporty looking to match the car without it being too "bling" as I want the car to retain it's sporty look and not become an idol to the local chav community :(

Haven't a clue mate tbh. Could try your local scrappy & see what's available although I'm not sure what the seat quality would be like on them.

I wouldthink that covers on a leather seat may slide about a bit too, not what you want when flinging it about a bit :D

I'll find a way to fix 'em down a bit :D

Halfrauds had some nice ones, but only in black with red or blue... and it's a green car *sigh*

Seat covers are terrible and they end up smelling bad :o

Try flea bay for some car seats. What car is it for?

No one cares what seat covers you use as long as you dont pay 30 quid for them.

I do, I'm not having my car sporting Max Power logo's when I detest that kind of inhumane torment that people insist putting their cars through :p

Crappy leather seats > Crappy seat covers.

Take a leaf out of penski's book - they're not crappy and old, they just have character.

Yeh... 400 miles a week on leather seats in a car without air-con in the peak of the summer considering recent weather = a bad idea IMO :(

Got any pics of the current seats? A friend of my recently picked up an ancient Mercedes G-Wagon with blue leather seats which were in dire condition (cracked all over and a couple of stitching splits).

Anyway he had some guy turn up that sanded the seats down to a bare/fresh layer of leather, stitched them up and then he used some sort of spray to re-colour the seats, ended up looking not far off brand new. Very impressed by the work and I don't think it actually cost that much, probably more that what seat covers cost but without a doubt they look 100% better than the covers could ever look like.

So why did you buy it?

If you do 400 miles a week and had £1600ish to spend then a 1.6 Hyundai with no aircon would seem like a poor choice.

Because it's a gorgeous car that has everything else except air con... and it means I can ditch the A50/M1 for a... shall we say "more interesting" route? ;)
