Second 5850 Weird Issue

Ok guys just got a 5850.
First off I will say that in dos and even the windows login screen it appears normally but when it loads to the desktop i get this.....

Now what do you guys think?

I have it currently running as a second GPU windows installed all drivers fine and gpuz shows everything as expected, also crossfire appears to have enabled correctly.

I will run some benchmarks and see if it show any marked improvement over a single GPU and report back.

Ok well was quicker than expected being that as soon as i run a game the issue appears.
It would appear to happen when running only 3d apps in crossfire or all the time stand alone.

Ok guys just got a second 5850 from a friend who had problems with it.

and you thought it would automatically fix itself when you bought it from him?
