Second car time I think

when "running" your quotes get the final price and then use the back button and go alter the vehicle, retry and it will give you a new quote. iirc about 50-100 between them.

but i mean really whats £50-£100 over the course of a full year?!

I've been running some quotes, and I think the 2.0 Focus is going to be a bit heavy on the insurance. How does the 1.8 compare?

Its only Group 8. If its heavy on the insurance every other car will be as well.

How much are the quotes?

Around £1400 TPFT

Bearing this in mind, it looks like I'll have to look at smaller cars. So once again suggestions are welcome, especially on the Austin mini.

have a look at unpopular cars, less chance of young people crashing them, so less insurance risk, usually means cheaper insurance.

focus, clio, saxo ect ect ect = popular young drivers car.

how about one of the skodas? not the octavia that'll be expensive insurance.

Was having a quick look as those, but I can't help but think "old lady" when it comes to the Fabia.

The classic isn't bad though, although it only has 68HP :P

or

Electronic Stability Program - Sensors in the car monitor if the car is loosing control and attempts to recover it usually by braking one or more of the wheels as it sees fit.
