ive taken my card out but ive forgot to uninstall the drivers will this be ok when i put the new card in

Is this going from ATI to Nvidia?. If so then I'd try and make sure they drivers are uninstalled and deleted from C:\ATI. That includes the ATI folder. Only then I'd be confident that everything will be ok. If it's ATI to ATI then it's fine ;).

I've swapped motherboards with the same operating system a few times when the Hard Drives are full to the brim because am I hell waiting a few days for burning DVD's. Remove chipset drivers and you're fine. If not then more than likely windows goes to pot and you need to repair or reinstall. I'm not saying anything like that will happen but I'm trying to point out that different drivers can have some weird effects on your PC so for peace of mind always remove if possible.
