Second Hand HDD

Hello.

I currently have a hard drive (500gb) and a 2TB external HDD. The 2TB one is for backing up my photos and any other data that needs to be backed up.

Im thinking of buying another 500GB SATA HDD to put things on like music and games.

Would anyone disagree about buying a second hand HDD?

If its been checked and has no errors, and you can get a good discount, go for it. Personally I'd only buy from MM though.

Thinking if to get a SSD for games? Would it be worth it?

An SSD would be great, however you'll want something large around the 200GB figure.

Yeah, can't really justify the price of an SSD (more than £50 really). At the moment im just playing race07 and currently downloading stars wars mmorpg. Also have runes of magic but I don't play it much.
