I was wondering if someone could help me with some organisation. I'm either think about a raptor or an ssd for the os and then use the existing one for storage but I'm getting annoyed as I can't think where to store things.

I want to install a lot of games and keep them installed on the hard drive, this won't be a problem but where do I put my programs? on another hard drive ? saying that what about steam?

Movies will be fine as they're just independent but what about music? if I'm using itunes is it best to keep the music in it's directory or on another hard drive but will it take ages to play a song?

Depends on how big your raptor or SSD will be.

Most people install OS on fast drive along with some select games from their collection that they want performance improvements on (and possibly steam if it fits), and then all data, music and other games go onto a storage drive.

I don't have an SSD or raptor myself, but I've found my OS drive to give around 95mb/s read and my 1tb storage to give around 100mb/s read, which seems more than fast enough in games atm anyway.
