Hey all,
Intel E6600
Gigabyte GA_P35_DQ6
GeForce 8800 GTS OC2 640MB
GeIL 2GB
Samsung SpinPoint 500GB SATA-II
Samsung SH-183LBEBN DVD±RW
My first hard drive had to be RMA'd as, while it would show up in the BIOS, windows wouldnt recognise it, and it was unable to be formatted when installed into another computer.
Second hard drive arrived yesterday, vista installed straight away, was up and running getting my first look at Vista...Happy days! That was until i restarted my computer after installing the drivers for my 8800 GTS.
Click......Click........Click
Windows could not boot up.
Arrrrgh!
Tried repairing the drive using the vista disk but it tells me the whole drive is corrupted.
Just my luck!
The question is: Is there anything that could be wrong in my system thats causing these drives to fail?
Any help would be appreciated.
