I have an asus 570 mobo, I just got a secone m.2 hdd. the first one i had no issues with, the second shows up in the bios and device manager but not in disk management. I cant figure out hoe to get it to show up. I have googled it and tried several things to no results

Disk Manager often hides new drives off the bottom of the window and you just need to scroll down to find it. If it's in the BIOS and Device Manager then I'm reasonably confident it is in Disk Manager, just hiding from you.

After a bit of fiddling about making a new SSD available, I had to right-click on the small panel on the left of the Disk Manager window, the one with the drive number and capacity, to get the initialise prompt. So I still think the OP just needs to scroll down to find his drive. I'm also putting money on him being a one-post wonder.....

Just Secure Erased my MP510 drive in preperation to replace it with a 2TB.

Have not removed it yet and when i open Disk Management it auto opens the Initialise Wizard.

I am on W10 pro but don't think it would be different for other versions.

Hope the OP is not a one post wonder.

And never to be seen again...

Sometimes it automatically opens
The initialise option box
Sometimes it doesn't
If you are still getting nowhere
Then use command prompt and diskpart to do it
Or use a free partition software
Like aomei or minitool or easeus
