I'm building a pc for a friend. Its going to have 2 hard drives. 1 ssd for the main os and a barracuda 7200rpm for steam and other stuff. My friend asked me if buying a £40 Kingston 60GB ssd drive to put the cache and temp folders so his pc would be still remain fast and his main ssd would get less wear.

Unfortunately i have no idea about the downside to this (or more accurately i cant think of any). Can anyone here give any input?
