in all fairness - this is DAMN AWESOME! www.secretcinema.org
basically the company chooses a film and doesn't tell you what it is, all they do is tell you what to dress up as and meet at a certain destination.
Tonight was blade runner and was in associattion with windows mobiles (brother Knows someone organising the event) and it was awesome lol, it had the entire china town in a massive run down building and there must have been at least 200 people dressed up from the company and more people from the public - everyone was dressed up wearing florecent coloured clothing or black with neon ummbrellas - the cops arrested me and I got freed by a bunch of prostitutes and they gave me a lollipop! SCORE!
My brother seen the main character, went onto IMDB.com and got a photo of him and then went and said "hey is this you?" and he went "yes" then my brother says "I'm gonna report you to the police you replica!" and then shouts to the officers "OFFICERS HE'S A REPLICA! And shows a photo, then a HUGE fight breaks out lol, the guy is throwing officers everywhere, harrison fords character comes in and tries shooting him as he was running off - the gun was firing something because you could see the gun flash coming off it and the loud bang. was pretty awesome.
Funny part was when we was in the cinema, we were on the comfier seats as my bro was told that's where we should go - then the cinema CCTV went on me... I didn't know and my brother goes "steve - you're on the cinema screen!"..... my instant reaction after looking up was "oh! ****! quick steven do something funny!" sadly I spazzed out like that obese drumming kid thats on youtube.".... while doing that my brother starts shoving things in my face... slowly raises his microsoft badge that has his picture name and the microsoft name....
on a lighter note - 80's movies still look as good as current movies (non 3d ofcourse)
