It's not really supposed to. It's a budget price title i.e selling at release for price of Magicka etc. It's supposed to be damn fun, not cutting edge visuals.

Will be interested to read your feedback, got the original S8 on the sales but never got round to playing it.
Saw this one was cheap, but based on the unfavourable reviews for the first one I was a little put off.

If its good, I'll probably give it a punt at £8.99

The first game was criminally underrated and unbought. The beta was brilliant fun but then nobody bought the game, you were lucky to get into a server with more than ten people.
Just been playing for an hour and a half and this new one is amazing. Even better than the first one. With it being so cheap, hopefully a lot more people will pick it up.
The swarm mode is brilliant.

Screams Monday Night Combat in a different setting. In-fact the assault rifle mag/reload is identical to the Heavy minigun in MNC!

Steam's European servers are either a joke or horribly broken. It's 3am local time and I still can't start downloading from any of the European servers I've tried because apparently they are all still too busy.

On my other computer I changed to US server, tried once and the download begun. I know I can easily do that on the other computer as well but I want to see how long it actually takes for me to utilize their European servers.
