secure erase + intel + windows 8

How can I secure erase an ssd using windows 8 (OS is not installed on the ssd in question). The intel software dosent work with win 8.

I did try parted magic but when I create a bootable usb with it on and boot from it, i get an error saying its not boot media.

should work from usb,worked for me and from burning to cd

http://rufus.akeo.ie/ use that to create bootable usb stick

put parted magic iso file onto it
