Secure Erase SD Card

I've just sold one of my old phones that uses a SD card. Does anyone know of any free programs that I can use to securly erase the card? Formatting is not enough as it is trivial to revocer the previous data from the card.

unless it was a huge card and very expensive to source a replacement, i would just get a new one and ship it with that, probs easier if viable

Why not just keep the card? I save the old ones as collections of e.g. photos and stuff, instead of a DVD or CD

Sorted it, thanks. It's only an 8MB Vodafone branded SD card so it's not much use to me but in the phone it's quite useful even though it's small.
