Secure Erasing a Samsung 830

Anyone managed to secure erase this drive?

Using Samsung's SSD Magician to create a bootable cd/usb when I attempt to boot into the program using either, it does not work. The screen has no text, its a solid blue/red colour.

I also tried to secure erase using gparted, but the drive appears frozen.

Well technically its impossible to secure erase an SSD. Except with thermite or something physically destructive.

Option 3 under "Freeze Locked" should work.

Used this method twice with my Samsung 830, worked both times no problem.
