Secure erasing/formating Sandisk 64GB

Hello folks, I want to secure erase/format my Sandisk 64GB SSD.

I cant find any utilities by Sandisk which does this, can any advise if I can just use Windows 7 format/quick format?

parted magic has a secure erase feature,and gparted

can do a normal format if you want though

Quick format is fine if you aren't attempting to erase sensitive data.

The Secure Wipe will bring it back to 100% performance and takes seconds.

He means secure erase.

Just use an old free version of Parted Magic. Secure erase sets the drive back to factory default giving it 100% performance like new.

Yes others have already mentioned that above and I have acknowledged it but went with the quickformat as there is no sensitive information on the drive.

Meant Secure Erase using a FREE build PartedMagic (newer builds are not Frre anymore).

What was last version number that was free for Parted Magic?

Looking on Sourceforge it now has a text document with main website link for paid version.
