So, just had a minor leak on the connection I made between my 5970's (barbs with some hose). I got lucky in that only a small amount of fluid leaked, and remained atop of the copper and didn't go onto the card itself or drip into my PSU.
So now I need a better method to join the cards. See the following pic for reference:
From the plexi on the top card to the copper on the bottom card is 50mm (half ass measured as I didn't have time to turn the case to an easier angle to measure). I was thinking to replace the barbs with compressions as I have a few spare, but then I remembered why I went with barbs in the first place, the EK 3/4" OD compressions don't fit due to the 5970 backplate.
If anyone can recommend a better solution I would much appreciate it. I am considering the EK Bridge, but I need the PCI slot in between the 5970's for my sound card, and am unsure if the blanking port used on the bridge will prevent the installation of the sound card.
