yea posh areas are easy targets to many people think no one will ever rob your shed or garden then you wake up and all your power tools and bikes are gone.

TBH if you smeared a 99p lock and chain in dog poop it would probably be more of a deterrent than an expensive lock

I am in the throws of making a bike store at home.

As for security the bikes are secured with one of those floor anchors and a hefty chain.

The surround is just to keep then dry, 'cos the garage is now an office.

Since this thread started I now have have an anchor point on the garage floor and the 18mm chain goes round the two bikes and the 18mm D-Lock also locks the bikes together.

The lock is good but the chain isn't. 13mm won't last long against bolt cutters. Look up Almax security chains and make sure the chain doesn't rest on the ground. One good chain is better than lots of average ones.
