So I've bought a gazeebo, and I've set it up, it's currently 16 mph wind with 30mph gusts .
The side walls only secure to the metal frame with velcrow loops, as a result there is no way to stop wind from getting into the gazeebo fully and as such the sides buffeting and they won't last 5 mins until the Velcrow hoops tear off
As a result I've rolled the side walls up and wrapped them up top of frame, so they're still hopped on at the top for easy installation on a nice day.
The gazeebo is faster with the hooks into the ground IMO these won't really do anything since I can pull the gazeebo out with one arm.
I have also used cable on the two front corners anchored into the ground, these are a bit sturdier than the hooks.
The back of the gazeebo is secured to the fence with cable ties, 3 connected together, I have repeater this 6 times along the back.
Would this suffice to keep the gazeebo in place ?
Should I use the small sand bags provided ? I don't feel they'd do much it the wind was strong enough?
