The police will get them in a few days, if they charge in now and try and get some, more and more will come out and instead of a few burnt out cars you will have a full scale roit on your hands. These are not your normal chav calling you names in the street.

Ahhh so thats what the hellicopters were waking me up for this afternoon....

Its fairly quiet down here in south belfast after the football violence on staurday (bashed up wetherspoons!!!)
 
The place is absolutely deserted. Just had to pick the house mate up from work, buses were off. There's hardly anyone out on the roads. Reminds me of the old days :(
 
The city was fine at 10 - 11.30 tonight? No trouble at all, more police out, well more armoured landrovers anyway, but no trouble. Guess it's all in West Belfast.

Well to be fair you did just type that at 11:20pm so im assuming you were out at about 11pm, roads are pretty dead that time of night on a weekday.

Yeah it was pretty quiet around uni, which is a little strange for a monday student night....

Im thinking its all out in the other bits of town (hopefully)

Edit- id rather nothing at all to be happening just ot clarify

As I was reading the above posters from NI I was imagining myself back in Hartcliffe in Bristol.

I got a feeling there is going to be a lot of unrest in the next 12-18 months in a lot of UK cities when ordinary people fiinally realise what a mess of the country LAbour have made.
