Security code

Hello people!

Ive got a nokia 7610 ive changed the security code on it a little while ago from the standard 12345 code. Ive forgotten the code now ( stupid me ). Was wondering if theres a way to find out the code again? im selling my phone so when i put in a different sim it asks for the security code which ive completly forgot. Hope there is a way, Thanks

There is a way to reset the code, you need a serial cable iirc and a piece of software call "DCT4 tools". The easiest way however is to pop into a local nokia service centre, explain the situation and ask them to reset the code for you
