SED displays

[crashuk]

i heard a rumour that the tosh seds will be on sale this summer anyone know if this is true?

well with the licencing issues with Xerox (i think), SED as a tech may be delayed. Thats's the last I read.

Isn't SED just a renamed version of that technology that was in development for yeeeeeears.

Apparently it is rather special, but is strictly pro-end.. so expect prices to be £5000+

I think its only going to be for huge screen sizes and is bound to be expensive for a while like any new stuff going into production.
