A couple of months ago I went through a bit of a tough experience with a girl. She was one of my closest friends and she decided to tell me she liked me as more than just friends, but then later changed her mind. Everyone has a right to change their mind but she went to great lengths to put me down and try and convince me all the things she had said were just her joking (For anyone reading sending a message saying 'I have a thing for you, would you like to come over tomorrow so we can talk about stuff?' and telling someone you want to sleep with them is not particularly funny if you don't mean it).

After this she wouldn't speak to me (I tried to find out what had really happened, turned out she was dating 4 other guys at the same time) except she came up to me in a bar and acted like nothing was wrong. Since then I have avoided going places where I know she is going to be, but now I am practically forced to go out tonight where there is a good chance that either her (or her mental sister) will be.

How do I avoid getting depressed if I see her? I have seen her out a few times and everytime its like a smack in the stomach because of how she made me feel like I was complete crap on her shoe and to her it didn't matter at all what she had done. I don't think alcohol will improve the situation. :(

Don't aknowledge her and concentrate on having fun with the people you've gone with.

By the sounds of it she isn't worth the time of day.

Just look at her for whats she worth. Why would you want an attention seeking hoe bag? Waste of your time.

don't acknowledge her and enjoy your night, don't give her a thought. if you do so happen to meet and look at each other just give a smile and walk on past. show that you're not botherd and the situation will end up more on her mind than yours.

Give her one for the road, have done with n walk off.

On a seriosu note just ignore her have a good time and forget about her adn DO NOT resort to drink especially alone.

High Five her!

On the forehead.

With your fist.

Seriously, pretend she isn't there at all. Don't get dragged into having a go at her, it will probably get messy. Don't confront her at all, and if she comes to you, politely ignore her. If she gets loud, just leave.

Good Luck!

I am worried about how I feel if I see her, but am more worried about her sister. Her sister is totally unhinged and I have no idea if she knew what was going on or not, but I wouldn't have thought so. With that in mind I am slightly worried about what she actually told her sister because I know that she would come up to me and start a fight if she thought it was my fault.

I could eclipse EVERY SINGLE girly thread ever made (Even my own mammoth complex twisted ones) with my new situation, but I'm gonna save it until I have a beginning middle and end :D

It might not beat mine. :p

Sorry mate but if you see her it's going to get you down no matter what. In fact your night will probably be crap either way because you'll be worried about seeing her as well and you'll almost certainly not pull because you'll be (unknowingly) giving off bad vibes. It sucks. The best thing you can do is just try and bottle it up do your best to have a laugh and know that next time it will be a tiny bit easier

Just try to be the gentleman. More or less ignore he because she does not deserve your attention. If she tries to speka to you be polite but don't ask any question and give brief answer, this should let her know you don't want to speak to her.
If she keeps trying to push you then simply tell her that what she did was wrong and that it has upset you.

Don't do anything stupid or say anything stupid.
