Hi, I brought a pre-built OC'd system from here just over a year ago and now sat here wondering why I didn't just get 8GB at the time. So, I was wondering if you guys could offer me some help on what RAM to go for / is compatible (I'm massively out of the loop on this kind of stuff now) and what I may have to do to help keep the OC near where it is now? I'll be getting rid of the current 2x2GB and going for 2x4GB.

Info:
MB: P55-USB3 rev 2.0
CPU: i5 760 @ 4Ghz (multiplier x21, bus speed 191Mhz)
RAM: Corsair CMX4GX3M2A1600C9 XMS3 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 with DRAM freq @764Mhz

Now, I believe I need to be looking at DDR3 Dual-Channel - PC3-12800? If so, how much "playing" will that require with my current CPU overclock?

Cheers :)

If you have the clearance for the comedy heatspreaders, the 8gb vengeance ram kits are currently on offer at £40. That £5 voucher would make them a bargain...

As long as he bought something else as well to take the order value to over £50.

I'm sure there's something he could make use of.
