Thing is, when you are in the armed forces you have to accept that you may have to give your life - however - you should have every realistic expectation that you will be given equipment and backup that is 2nd to none, the snatch landrover that has been the cause of many deaths does not fit that bill.

You are wrong. If anything the families of soldiers are even more keenly aware of the possible consequences of when they are deployed. Of the 400 or so families affected very few have said anything to the media.
