Sometimes I think this. Occaisionally I find girls that I am attracted to. Sometimes I make an effort to make contact.

Yet often I lose interest. Its a weird world, and perhaps the memory of another haunts me.

I don't think you're the first to feel this. I used to surprise myself at getting bored in relationships despite being with someone I was extremely attracted to physically - I guess it just proves it takes more than looks. :)

I didn't get your "rubber" comment - but maybe it's best I dont?! :p

Yeah. I keep seeking her. I am still in touch with her, but I wont get back together with her. But it doesn't stop me thinking that every new girl I meet would be at best a compromise.

I am not going to kick into a Megzy or anything, but safe to say that it isn't a good thing to go into a relationship thinking its second-prize.

Its from Fight club, it wasn't sarcasm - I thought your comment was very nice and it touched me a little - hence i went a 'rubber one'

Thanks, it is I who is now touched. :)

It's hard when you start comparing others to the "one that got away"... I made a thread on this many moons ago, I was in exactly the same situation. You're right, getting into a relationship with baggage like that isn't going to be fair on either of you - especially if she doesn't know how deep it is rooted to you. Have you tried to find closure? I know you said you won't get back together but could it be worth giving it another shot? Someohow you've got to "get over" it (for use of a better expression) but it sounds like maybe you just need to escape from it or do a big change of direction to break up your life a little?

You find Janet Jackson attractive?

I really wouldn't be telling people that....

You're not wrong.
Some of the most beautiful women I have met have been what others would describe as "munters" and conversely, some of the most hideous women I have met have been very attractive, physically.

Being physically attracted to someone is a start but is in no ways the be all and end all.

To the OP: If you find this female attractive, do something about it, then come back and tell us about it - if you're not willing to do something about it, stop wasting our time.

Stan :)

ive been to bed with the most beautiful woman many many nights.
ive woken up to some of the ugliest.

didnt speak to her, bit of a wimp i guess, im fine when im on a night out, but she was paying for food and i was dribling a little, god damn she was fit,

As i was walking out all i could hear in my head was that jackson song where one of the lines goes "She's out of my life"

im going to try and dream about her!

Lmao @ this thread. :D

Reminds me of one day one of my co-workers running around frantically telling everyone to come and see 'the fittest girl he'd ever seen'. He literally perved on her for 20 minutes while she went shopping.

Would it be fair to summise that this amazing transmogrification process requires the potent ingredient of fermented hops?

well if you didnt do anything about it fancying her is kinda useless aint it. Hate the "wow she's fit but won't go talk to her" crowd. :(

There's this girl I see on the bus, I'm going to marry her. I think I might love her a bit.

I've not spoken to her either

(Seriously though, gonna marry 'er)

You joke but my friend got a text one day from an unrecognised number saying something along the lines of 'I really like you and I think I am in love with you', thinking it was a wrong number he ignored it. 2 days later he got a text from the same number apologising and addressing him by name.

Turns out this girl who works in the same sainsbury as him got his number by asking one of his friends for it and pretending she'd lost it. He didn't know her name and doesn't remember ever speaking to her.

Man you guys remind me of Edward Bloom out of Big Fish.

"You dont know me, but im going to marry you"

Lol, yeh. Good film that. In fact I did have an amusing recollection of it earlier today coincidentally.. the bit where he is getting beaten up by his true-love's current boyfriend - and that very evening because of the exertion he put himself through beating Edward up he collapsed and died on the crapper just like how he'd seen in the witch's eye. Excellent tim burton stuff :)
