i understand the PS3 version has not got headset support
Might give this a miss and get PGR4 instead
ye im struggling too with same thing need another 19 points to get to the final thing that makes it much harder is the fact u have to do the 3 races without any way of saving each race all fun i guess apart from the expert league making me feel like a numpty lol![]()
Jesus, how is everyone finding this now. I'm 30 odd points off unlocking the finals races for the first championship and I'm finding it rock hard.
I got 90/90 for the first league, 72/90 for the 2nd and 76/120 for the last. Even with manual gears racing the AI on some tracks I just cant close them down especially the expert league. I will win one of the 3 races and come nowhere in the others.
Its then getting frustating having to redo the section to won to get to the last stage you flopped at. Its got so my patience can only stand one section per day.
I still cant decide whats the fastest route through a corner. Ive got to a hairpin and taken it perfectly down shifting and sliding and gain nothing on the car. So I think **** it whack the stick over the next time and just try to take it in 6th and I make up ground even though I'm sliding off the fence.
How are you doing Nintenjo???
The one level that bugs me more than any other is the canyon one with all the water.
So.. if your good at driving on lower deformed surfaces etc you'll get on better with ROAD tyres. But the off-road are a bit better if your new to SR.
Hope that helps..
Then ill move onto modifiedBut ive been so tired lately i havnt been able to concentrate
. But it shouldnt be that hard danny, make sure you use the road tyres, and play a bit more agressive..
PS> I still want to give you a game online.. !! But your never on.
Canyon 1 is a classic dudeYour best off with Off-Road tyres on that one and learn nice straight route around the puddlles as they will slow you down a lot.
Well the manual vs Auto gear thing is a strange one.. Manual gears are better technically.. They have better top-speed and acceleration..
BUT and its a big but.. you have to be spot on with your changes and personally makes it very difficult to time it perfectly so you generally lose out. But i never liked manual gears tbh. You should get on fine with Auto unless your playing against absolute pro's.
Manual Gears is more aimed at time-trial.. but experimentIts all about fun.. and often the first lap is the most important.
PS. Catch-UP in single player is actually very good funaso, but can only be played in non-ranked matches. But the original arcade had a lot of rubber banding and always made races close and quite interesting.
