Sega Retro Console to launch in October

Do you still happen to have the paper? I didn't think the Sun was out on a Sunday. Was it the News of the World?

You may think this is a strange question but I am an employee of Blaze, the company behind the Megadrive Handheld and as I didn't see the article I would be interested to know about it.

Cheers.

Sorry, never checked this thread, it was in the Scottish News of the World that morning, not the sun (unless it was the Saturday scottish sun).

I've got a feeling there will be a lot of disillusioned Sega fans who's fond childhood memories of the Megadrive will be damaged forever by this 'portable megadrive'

Nostalgia is a powerful thing people.

yep ive played very few retro 'classics' that ive truly enjoyed second time round. Fact is

older games in reality < new games...

But old games in our memories *> than new games

The only game ive played through via emulator, was Mario 64, as it ran better on my pc than the console, since it was all in japanese when i first played it.

Other than than UE is right, old games are best kept in memories

I wonder if you can unsolder the game chip, and then solder in a Megadrive Cart slot like you can on the Radica mini megadrive units that plug into your TV
