Seinfeld/Kramer racist rant

He must be really crap at stand-up if that's all he can come up with in response to being heckled.

A good stand up would have destroy and humiliate people interrupting and heckling them using wit and personal remarks.

What he did was just poor, it's not like he let slip out a word in error, he rambled on and on for several minutes, the regret he seems to be showing now seems a bit odd.

Prize fool.

You mean like Billy Connelly and the whole Ken Bigley thing? I have no idea how good a comedian he is but they all make mistakes.

anyone got a link to the full show, as you only see part of the show there and cannot get the full story. I did hear the hecklers call him a cracker which is also racist.

I'm not a fan. I think Connolly made one comment, an error of judgement that backfired on him.

Richards could have stopped at any point, he kept going and going with it, a perfectly calm audience member said it was uncalled but he didn't back down he just yelled more abuse.

I don't know about you but if I overstepped a mark (who hasn't) I wouldn't keep doing it for several minutes.

I've seen a lot of stand-up, they get heckled all the time it's part of the job and they should be able to deal with it.

Well he pointed enough at them so i don't think he had to be descriptive, i'm sure when he pointed to the balcony everyone looked up....A simple point and STFU would have done i think ;)

But to say

Is crossing the line and simply wrong

totally agree

Apology on letterman via satellite. Second link down.

He seems really cut up, which I suppose you would after destroying your career. I dunno, the apology doesn't really cut it for me, I don't think you can apologise that kind of thing away.

I have a black mate, i lie - porbably one of my best mates and we are nothing but racist to each other - i think its dependandt on how you get on with the person

Oh noo - i just got given the new Seinfeld series 7. Should I open it and watch it, or don't bother and sell on straight away? (before it looses more value..)

I don't really know who he is or if Sienfield is any good, but I hope it doesn't destroy his career over something so trivial. He got mad and said stuff he didn't mean. He made a mistake, everyone's done it.

My friends are pakis, spooks, *******, ****, spics, kikes, chinks and so on. I'm GWB (generic white boy), pasty, a heeb...whatever.

We're comfortable using these terms with each other.
