Select everything inside a div tag

Hi, I have a generated letter that I would like to place inside a div tag and then have a button you can click to select everything inside it (and preferably copy to clipboard too). Any ideas how I would go about this? The only select all buttons ive found on the web do it for a textarea which isnt what I want.

dunno if its possible, wait for someone elses input but you could hash it by having an invisble textarea on the page which you populate as well, and use the button to copy form that?

hm I dunno - cos the letter has images and stuff in it too

Actually, have you tried something like CopyHTMLToClipBoard( document.getElemenyById('myDiv').innerHTML) ?

I had a go, IE just gives an "object expected" error when I try it and FF does nout..
