SELEEEEEEEEEEECTA!

First band on were gash. Sounded like an identikit Dillinger Escape Plan cover band and the frontman was trying to be Mike Patton and failing.

Second band up were unsigned and bloody great. UNBELIEVABLY tight too.

Kind of Like Vacant Stare/Deftones/Heavier Incubus with blastbeats and a thrash guitarist (complete with pinch harmonics, sweeps and waist-length windmilling hair).

Seconding the demand for names. Names, damn you.

I saw them on saturday, yet again such an amazing live show they really are a hard working band.

Love the new album, not really heard any of their dub war days. Will see if I can get some.

Benji threw me a horrid look when his missus thanked me for the coffee I had bought her earlier on in the day though (was there at soundcheck time sorting tickets out). Was highly amusing :)

Idiom were the support, although on attempts to find some youtube stuff there seem to be a few bands with that name. the myspace link above it correct though.

very kind of you.

anyway back on track...Skindred Rock!

Penski did you enjoy Skindred, you mentioned the rest but not them :)

the guitarist from Idiom will loose his head one day he was definately giving it beans.

i only made it into the mosh fr the last song or 2, needed to get some courage down my neck first. I ended up with more sweat from other people on me than anything else though...not the best.

getting too old for moshpits.

The place really was bouncing though. they go down well in Camberley :)

well you know what I mean. your always going to get pushed around at a gig if you want to get to the front.
it wasn't a circle of doom or anything.

This isn't a justification against me being an idiot though...I already know that.

at the agincourt there is a good sunken bar area to hang around with and still get a great view. the place is tiny anyway (capacity 600ish) so you are never far away from the action.

did they play any dub wars stuff for the set you saw?
