Self host a shareable calendar file?

How can I self host a dynamic calendar file which can be added as an internet share to desktop Outlook for several people for each person to add/edit.

How would I host a webcal:// iCalendar ?

If I just dump an .ics file into a http:// host, it is static is it not?

Yep, an ICS file shared over HTTP will be static.

DAViCal should do what you want if you want the host it yourself or Google Calendar would work too. Personally I'm using iCloud but I could also make use of my Office 365 Exchange Online subscription.

Thanks for your input.

I setup Next Cloud in the end and using the CalDAV synchroniser add-on, works perfectly and does exactly what I want.
