Selling a stupid large amount of Lego - Suggestions?

Yeah you definitely need to seperate in to sets as others have said. There are sets I'd buy if I saw them come up online but I wouldn't be interested in buying random job lots with who knows what in. Sorry, sounds unhelpful but just think you'll struggle to sell as unsorted sets.

Not unhelpful at all, if anything it just highlights that I'll need to sort them out as others have said the same as you, I'm just a bit lazy ;)

This has accumulated from since I was about 3 :D
 
I had a large amount of Lego from many kits from childhood.

I ended up looking at all the official instructions online and saved any of them that seemed to jog my memory.

Managed to build up a fair few of them and only had some odd missing pieces and not too much left over... and it was fun, much of it was a blast from the past!

@TechMinerUK soy you have many of the instructions? The boats especially hold the price well of they are complete might be worth making them up and selling them seperatly on some of the Lego pages on facebook.

If I had the cash and space to keep it all I would take it off your hands!!
 
Op: stick it in pillow cases and fling it through the wash to make it fresh'n'dandy, then split it in to the sets and sell like that.

Does anyone sell used boxes? Could be an option too. Proper Lego sets are worth a decent amount used.
 
If you know what sets you have could you not just download the instructions from Lego and reverse engineer them into complete sets?

Then flog each of them as complete kits?

Totally depends on their value of course but that's what I'd do.

I have instructions for around 6 of the models and that's the same predicament I'm in (Need the space for the new supercar they are bringing out in June) :D

I've started to split some into sets, luckily the rarer ones I have (Sopwipth Camel etc) are all seperated with boxes

Seems to be the main suggestion at the moment, it's a shame I can't outsource it to someone :D

For the ones where I have managed to seperate out most of the pieces I think I will have a crack at this :)

Recently went through this with all of my old Lego, it’s been a great source of entertainment for the kids albeit with a lot of input from me. You can get all set instructions online very easily, and use brick link to discover the set numbers by identifying certain key bespoke bricks with logos on them, etc.

Weve built around 50-60 sets so far covering around 20m^2 of floor space. Endless lockdown activity. Electric trains, loads of technic with working pneumatics and all sorts.

I won’t do this as it’s fun for them having such a massive amount of Lego around, but Once you have done this, you’d be surprised at how much the sets are worth if you wanted to then sell them.

I could do but I'm going to use some of the cash to get the new Lamborghini that's out next month

I did end up doing this and luckily a chap up in Scotland has taken it off my hands providing ParcelForce get it to him in tact :)

Haha, yes its worth a reasonable amount isnt it. I have one single Technic truck which seems to be worth ~£150 on its own which i was surprised by!
