Hi all,

I just got BF3 on the PC and my machine doesn't run it well enough at all :(

Is it possible to sell the PC version even though I've already entered the cd code thing on my pc?

It is a much nicer experiance on my xbox at the moment :(

Thanks,

G

That sucks ass! The nvidia site said I could run it on just less than high, but it isn't even properly playable with everything on the lowest.

Gutted.

I would buy it off you but being a student and having no funds doesn't help, plus its always risky with it being added to your origin account you could always claim it back :S

And some. I have some of my clan mates with less than that and they are running it fine.
Same cpu and a 260 there's a fella running it fine on vent right now. He doesn't have his fps counter up telling him it's running point 2 frames per second slower than it should be though.

I have a mate running it with a 260 and an Athlon dual core with 2gb of DDR2 running it ok!

I have a Q6600 @ 3.6Ghz and a GTX295, and I've recently dropped settings to a mix of medium and low to get higher fps @ 1920x1080. It runs SP at high well enough though.

This thread reminds me of why I gave up PC gaming and now just stick to the old classics which are cheap or solo developed games which are fun.

I got burned far too many times buying a high price title as it was either rubbish or not what I expected. I couldn't sell it and was stuck with an expensive coaster.

Sticking to the old classics or cheap games means I still enjoy them and if they're rubbish I've only wasted a few quid.

i normally wait a few months for the price to drop then buy (though activision dun give a ** please fully star out swear words, disguised or not ** and keep prices high)

i wouldn't be surprised if the next generation of consoles moved towards digital downloads rather than physical copies, they save money on producing a physical copy and they also hate the second hand market
