Apologies if this isn't allowed (but i'm assuming it is, hence why I'm posting it) :o

Anyway, i'm going to be upgrading our laptops soon, so i'll have 20 pretty decent laptops to get rid of (normally we donate them to charity, but in this climate, we need to get as many pennies back as we can!)

So I was wondering if anyone knew of a good place that buys old laptops, in bulk?!

Thanks!

We just used a recycling company to pick our old pc's up. Normally they pay around 30-50 for semi decent sequipment, So you may want to Destroy the HDD yourself(use a very powerful program to rid the old data) and then get new ones and sell them refurbished with a bit of a clean.

Im sure if the price is right and the specs good people on here might be intrested.

Me included (dibs) :D

Well i guess if I went down that road, i'd have to post in the MM section :P

As for data, i'll be securely wiping them before the leave the building, for sure :D

Run all the HDDs over a large magnet and smash them with a hammer, then sell the laptops sans HDD.

EDIT: Assuming they are normal platter based ones.

Not touching eBay with a barge pole! Perhaps i'll stick an ad in the members market and see how that goes :P

They're all HP Elitebook 2530p's, to give you an idea :P
