Selling mid-high value on FB Marketplace - Cash?

Just a quick one, I have an unopened coffee machine with a RRP of £450 to sell (unwanted gift).

Thinking about Facebook Marketplace, cash on collection? Any other tips/things to perhaps add to the advert?

Maybe eBay is ok too?

Cash on collection ONLY - nothing else. Delivery if you want to offer that locally by yourself, and again CASH....

Don't take "deposits" / paypal payments / offers of £500 then sending via courier etc...

Cash ONLY - nothing else.

Stay away from Ebay - fees/paypal payments/shipping etc - far too much hassle.

Yep. It's awful but can also be useful.

watch out for counterfeit money on FB.
be sure to check out the buyers profile to see if just set up or has been dormant for a while.

You have to sort through a bunch of time wasters but I’ve sold gpu and a full pc through fb market place. Cash on collection both times.

you'd need to be able to convince people in advert it had a guarantee/warranty before anyone would offer £400, when the standard ebay re-conned re-seller for sage
(renown for barista express sales) sells them everyday at £200.

My god, I’ve just put loads of high value electronics up for sale on FB. The amount of scammers I’m going through is insane!
