Selling on Ebay?

10% final value fee(upto£40 I think) + insertion fee + paypal fees.

Why not sell it on here, more secure and you'll make far more money.

Just sell it on the MM. You'll get more money overall, and eBay can often be such a hastle and waste of time.

Here is a real world example from when I sold my MacBook in December, VAT was at 15% so the fees will be slightly different.

2006 first generation Apple MacBook (2GHz, 2GB RAM, 120Gb HDD) 7-day auction, no reserve, no buy-it-now.

Final Sale price: £432.00
Postage & Packing: £19.99

Total: £451.99

Listing Fee: £1.30 (Gallery Plus, Subtitle)
Final Value Fee: £39.97
PayPal Fee: £15.57 (on £451.99)

Total: £56.84

Total - Fees - P&P: £375.16

The MM is the best bet, same as when I sold a guitar ebay would have been a rip off so I used a guitar forum and saved having to deal with a scammer or paying extortionate fee's.

thing is im selling a macbook pro for about 7-800ish, and 13% of that after ebay and paypal is a hell of a lot!

Dont sell on ebay unless you can stand the loss.
Ebay is full of scammers.

You could sell your mac, the buyer suddenly says there is a fault, send it back as that is what paypoo will tell them
You will receive a dead mac (not what you originaly sent)
You lose.

Always have the buyer collect or they pay you by back transer.

Also limit the buyers preferences to:
Credit card on file and UK post only.
