Selling something

If I sell something on an auction site then *generally* how long do I have before I have to dispatch the item. Surely if I dispatch within a week then that will be fine right? What are the rules on these things?

Well if you can avoid it I wouldn't wait too long else you'll get crappy feedback. But I'd say a week is fine. They cannot start a dispute for 14 days or something(might be more, cannot rememeber) so you'll be fine!

I'd wait until payment has cleared, then try to send next day or day after that...

I post it when i say i will. If i state that i will send it as soon as the payment has cleared thats what i will do.

I post out on the same day as payment clears if poss, else it is next day.

Its common courtesy to dispatch on cleared payment.
