Hi,

I have registered a domain and currently use an email forwarder to forward email from a @domain address to a Gmail address. I have configured Gmail to allow me to send email from the @domain address via the web interface. However, I would like that ability on the move, i.e. on my iPhone, friend's HTC Desire, etc. Would it be possible to do this with the free version of Google Apps (I can't seem to find out that, although I don't think so) or would I be better off biting the bullet and getting some cheap hosting? I will eventually be adding hosting to the domain so I can set up a web site but I'm not sure when I'm going to do that yet and I don't want to pay for hosting only to use a small fraction of it (email).

Thanks,
Jon

I didn't read your whole message but I currently use Google Apps (free version) for @mydomain email.

I can send and receive email from my BlackBerry fine. You just go into settings and enable IMAP or POP like usual....at least I did anyways.
